We are proud to announce that the MTEC Foundation has awarded funding to two standout projects within Mobiliar Lab for Analytics at ETH Zurich (Chair of Technology Marketing). 🏆
These grants highlight D-MTEC’s mission to ensure technology serves human well-being and autonomy:
- Human Empowerment in AI: Dr. Joseph Ollier, alongside Tobias Hoesli (ETH Zürich) and Felix Feig (University of St.Gallen, investigates how human cognition and agentic system architectures jointly shape decision-making. Their goal? To ensure AI remains a tool for human empowerment rather than a source of manipulation as we move toward Agentic AI.
- Immersive Mental Health: Melanie Baumgartner, in collaboration with Dr. Bigna Lenggenhager (University of Zurich), is using VR to map bodily sensations. This project transforms vague feelings into data-driven insights to improve emotional regulation.
