Human Robot Interaction

Challenge

In surgical and training contexts, stress and cognitive load can impair performance and learning. Current robotic training systems lack adaptive feedback based on the user’s physiological or emotional state.

Approach

We integrate biosignals (HRV, sEMG) with real-time emotion classification to detect stress, focus, and fatigue. These signals are visualized through intuitive feedback overlays during robotic interaction tasks.

Expected Results

We expect adaptive feedback to improve user resilience, maintain focus, and enhance skill acquisition compared to non-adaptive systems.
