Our preliminary results on assessing the effectiveness of crime prevention information systems were published as work-in-progress papers: “Digital Neighborhood Watch: To share or not to share?” at the 2016 International Conference on Human Computer Interaction – CHI ’16 in San Jose, US and “Human versus Technology: Comparing the effect of private security patrol and crime prevention information system over the crime level and safety perception” at the 24th European Conference on Information Systems – ECIS ’16 in Istanbul, Turkey.
