Social Networks as a Basis for Neighborhood Help

According to a survey conducted in year 2000, one third of British population can not identify their neighbors. Despite the fact that there are many social networks today, such as Facebook or Twitter, these networks do not support binding and especially not in our living area. Recognizing this gap, new social networks are emerging, such as Nextdoor which represents a social network for neighborhoods and aims to bring together residents of a neighborhood closer in a form of an online bulletin board.
