Kicking off the new year with good news! The Lab and the Chair of Technology Marketing received approval for their ETH Grant application to fund the project: “Personalized virtual reality interventions to reduce office-related stress”. This semester, Raphael Weibel and Andrea Ferrario represent the Lab to host a challenge in the Mixed Reality Laboratory lecture at the ETH computer science department (D-INFK). Students use holographic reality to augment machine learning problems solving.
Raphael Weibel (Mobiliar Lab for Analytics at ETH) and Victor Schinazi (a close collaborator of the Lab), have co-authored a paper with other researchers, which was recently published in Nature Scientific Reports. They examined how neighborhood environments influence immediate stress and emotion, by simulating neighborhoods in virtual reality.
