Our PhD Student Rayna Ney presented her demo at the ACM Interactive Health Conference 2026 in Porto. Her project, Prompting for Mindfulness<\/em>, lets participants describe out loud the kind of relaxation environment they want to see, and in under a minute, generative AI creates it for a guided box breathing exercise. Combined with cardiac biofeedback, the project demonstrates how affective computing and generative models can support user wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next up, the prototype will be used to study how GenAI personalization of VR environments can help combat stress in young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
